Homes, up to 5 tons

The consumer entry point: per-unit monitoring, alerts, and day-one phone control for the home. On commercial fleets it also shows the demand peak forming so staff can shave it.
Best for homes; volume pricing for PTAC/FCU fleets at 100+ units.

Full telemetry, a learned baseline for each unit, degradation alerts with dollar impact, and a quarterly savings report. Built for the equipment that sits between a house and a building.
Best for large homes and small commercial: big rooftop-adjacent splits, mini-split arrays, and VRF in the 5-to-10-ton range.
Priced by the same rule as every tier: below the energy it's expected to save.
Commercial, 10+ tons

Everything in Pulse plus a maintenance agreement and alert-driven service visits, fulfilled by a certified AirPulse Pro partner. The subscription scales sublinearly with tonnage.
Best for commercial equipment of 10 tons and up; the fix handled, not just flagged.
In the worked 20-ton example, the unit keeps up to $3,956 a year after the subscription.
The rule we price by
We price every subscription below the energy it's expected to save, by a wide margin in the worked scenarios. In the 20% documented-fault scenario, a typical 5-ton home keeps up to $492 a year after the Sense subscription, and a 20-ton rooftop unit keeps up to $3,956 after Managed. In both cases you keep more than half of what AirPulse finds. Longer equipment life, avoided emergencies, LL97 headroom, and demand relief are upside on top, never counted in the pricing test. Actual savings depend on your equipment, runtime, and utility rate, and can be zero on a well-maintained system.
Install
- Self-install: free. Mini-splits and standard thermostat wiring are a 15 to 30 minute, app-guided, photo-verified hookup. Nest-class.
- Pro install (residential): $129/unit. An AirPulse Pro partner does it; they keep the fee.
- Commercial sensor tier: pro-only, quoted with your plan. Current clamps, equipment panels, and refrigerant-line probes are a safety and placement job.
Large equipment
Commercial equipment of 10 tons and up runs on the Managed plan, and the subscription scales with tonnage: a single 20-ton rooftop unit runs $237 a month, well under half of what the 20% planning scenario finds on a demand-billed meter.
